How do I put the bottle on my cooler?
There are two types of water coolers in the industry. Primo Water will work with both types of coolers. The types are spill proof and standard coolers. The spill proof cooler will have a probe that will puncture Primo's cap. The standard cooler does not. Here are some directions on how to use the bottle with both types.
1. Spill proof - Take the paper label off the Primo bottle and place the bottle on the top of the probe mechanism. The probe will push the plastic seal into the bottle when placed on top of the cooler.
2. Standard - Take the blue cap entirely off the bottle and invert the bottle on the top of the cooler OR take the paper label off of the Primo bottle and poke the plastic seal into the water. Put the bottle on top of the cooler.
Do coolers require much maintenance?
Other than periodic cleaning, coolers do not require any additional maintenance and can work for years!
How often should I clean my cooler?
Consult your owner's manual for cleaning instructions, but we recommend that you always thoroughly clean your cooler before its first use and anytime you get an off-taste in the water. If your manual doesn't have instructions, please contact the manufacturer.
Are there environmental benefits to owning a cooler?
Owning a water cooler means that you are not putting tons of small plastic bottles into the landfill day after day, but instead reusing the bottle on your water cooler. Now what is more environmentally friendly than that.
